Panda Super Market

This store is amazing. I was kinda scared to go the first time thinking the store could be intimidating, but it very much is not. The store is full of amazing products. So much selection and quite well organized. There is a variety of offerings from many different countries. I want to go back soon and try more things.

I think this establishment is essential to the community. I love that I can get great authentic Asian fare to make authentic Asian food for myself. They are very kind to me when I frequent their establishment. It is well stocked every time I go there. I can't wait until I try their Maryland 🦀 whenever they are in. I'll be looking to purchase live Crabs or Shrimp. Thank you PANDA SUPER MARKET. Your new neighborhood shopper.

This store has been reopened for quite a long time. The owner and staff are very friendly. This is pretty much the only Asian market in the Norwich area. They also sell Asian groceries from Japan, Thailand, China, and many other Asian countries. We love grabbing snacks and ramen noodles here.

I went in for the second time yesterday to purchase more of what I got on my first trip. To my dismay and utter heartbreak... what I came in for was no longer on the shelf. Something else had taken it's place. I was in a panic and feeling sad when a super friendly super hero of a store employee came to my rescue. I showed him a picture of what I was looking for and he went on a search and rescue mission for me to the shelves and then to the basement. Long story short (too late lol) he saved the day! If you enjoying making Asian dishes that require those hard-to-get ingredients then this is your 'go to' place so search no further. Mind boggling displays of dried and fresh noodles, canned veggies, sauces, curries and candies/cookies/sweets. Whether it's Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Vietnamese you'll find what you're looking for here. A great assortment of fresh and exotic vegetables and fresh seafood. If you have the nerve to make some authentic Chinese dishes that require turtle or frog that's available too. Might be a culture shock for some but go with an open mind. You can also find sakes, Chinese wines and loads of knick knacks like clocks, paper lanterns, woks, dishes, tea sets and the list goes on. Make it a point to go. You won't be sorry and prices are extrememly reasonable.

A good variety of food and the owner is very helpful! It's nice to have an Asian supermarket in this part of Connecticut.
